Money becomes part of our discipleship. Our resources begin to reflect who leads our lives. What we value most begins to shape how we give. Your money will follow its master.

Pastor Ashish preached about a cry that disrupts the status quo. He reminded us that some of us have learned to live with our blindness, to joke about it, manage it, and say, “It is what it is.” But Jesus is still passing by, and He still stops for faith. You can get used to dysfunction and build your life around managing it. You can fill your box with distractions and call it survival. But the blind man wanted more than coins, he wanted sight. When what was inside finally came out, everything changed. What are you asking God for that is not a reality yet?

What if the people around you are more open to God than you think? In Luke 10, Jesus reminds us that the harvest is plentiful, then sends His disciples out as messengers of His kingdom. This message explores how prayer shapes us, how God sends us into everyday places, even uncomfortable ones, and how the gospel is the announcement that Jesus, a new kind of King, has come near to heal and restore.

The difference is whether you are aware of it. When you know how much you have been forgiven, love flows freely. When you forget, faith becomes small and self-centered. True faith is not about what Jesus can do for you. It is about what you give Him. When your faith becomes Jesus-centered, worship becomes extravagant.

Guest preacher Pastor Josh Butler preached on “You Must Be Important”. In 2 Samuel 9, King David shows extravagant kindness to Mephibosheth, someone who had every reason to expect rejection, not welcome. An enemy’s descendant. A man in a low place. Yet David pulls him to the table and treats him like family. Pastor Josh reminded us that this is what God is like: A kind King who moves toward people, not away from them. A King who rewrites stories. A King who says, you matter more than you think. No matter what your past has told you, a new story is possible through King Jesus. And it starts with this truth: you must be important.
