Cs: V Praze bylo jaro a velikonoční prázdniny už byly za dveřmi.
En: In Praha, it was spring, and the Velikonoční prázdniny (Easter holidays) were just around the corner.
Cs: Těšení se na volno dodávalo vzrušení všem dětem, ale dnešní den byl ještě něčím lepší - školní výlet do Přírodovědného muzea!
En: Looking forward to the break added excitement for all the children, but today was even better for another reason - a school trip to the Přírodovědné muzeum (Natural History Museum)!
Cs: Autobus zastavil u muzea a ven se valily děti, jedna po druhé, plné očekávání.
En: The bus stopped at the museum, and the children poured out, one by one, full of expectations.
Cs: Vojta, Eliška a Radek byli kamarádi.
En: Vojta, Eliška, and Radek were friends.
Cs: Každý měl svůj vlastní důvod, proč se těšit na výlet.
En: Each had their own reason for looking forward to the trip.
Cs: Vojta, introvert, se těšil na dinosaury, které tak miloval.
En: Vojta, the introvert, was excited about the dinosaurs he loved so much.

En: But Vojta's mind was occupied by only one thought - to find the fossil he had read about.

En: He had a plan.
Cs: „Elisko, Radko,“ začal pomalu, „co kdybychom se odpojili od skupiny a šli tu fosilii najít?
En: "Eliška, Radek," he began slowly, "what if we split off from the group and went to find that fossil?"
Cs: “ Eliška, která byla vždy pro zábavu, hned souhlasila.
En: Eliška, who was always up for fun, immediately agreed.
Cs: Radek se tvářil pochybovačně, ale nakonec se nechal přemluvit.
En: Radek looked doubtful, but eventually, he was persuaded.
Cs: Trojice se vydala na průzkum do zadní části muzea, kde doufali, že najdou Vojtův vytoužený exponát.
En: The trio set off to explore the back part of the museum where they hoped to find Vojta's coveted exhibit.
Cs: Ale jak postupovali, bylo čím dál těžší se proplétat mezi lidmi.
En: But as they moved forward, it became increasingly difficult to weave through the people.
Cs: Nakonec se ale dostali k výstavní síni, kde měla fosilie být.
En: Finally, they reached the exhibition hall where the fossil was supposed to be.
Cs: Ale tam je čekalo překvapení - velikonoční hon za vajíčky pro děti zablokoval cestu.
En: But there, they encountered a surprise - an Easter egg hunt for children blocked their path.
