Dinosaur Man

Andy's Back! Back Again! Andy's Back, On The Pod.

He returns for a real treat of an episode, we review both Robert Eggers new film 'The Lighthouse' and Korean Oscar hopeful 'Parasite'. Andy has also caught up on a bunch of stuff that he had missed before the end of the year.

We catch up on some news as well, with an exclusive interview with Billie Eilish after her announcement as the performer of the new James Bond theme.

It's a different episode this week as it's Alex on his own. Andy has been ill recently and as such we haven't been recording. So today is Alex reviewing 'Richard Jewell' & 'Waves' in his absence.

Finally we wrap up the year that was here at Dinosaur Man HQ. We are delighted to bring you the official awards for films of 2019. In what has become a long and heated tradition we battle it out with our guest Paul Hudson to nominate and win in the 5 big categories.

Listen in to find out which films are on the receiving end of some high praise this year!

The question on everyone's lips this week is "Can the year of 'That'll Do Pig's' continue?" We'll never tell, until you listen to this episode of course. This week we break down Golden Globe wins, Doctor Strange directors and three high profile awards hopefuls.

New year, new reviews! We return with our first reviews of the new year, Oscar hopeful 'Jojo Rabbit' & Guy Ritchie gangster film 'The Gentlemen'.

We discuss videogames and give a numbered score for the first time ever.

We're also riddled with technical issues so forgive us.

That's right we're back in January which means our annual preview of the year to come. Alex and Andy are joined by Paul to discuss our picks for some personal highlights due to be released in the next 12 months. We talk about science fiction, Disney remakes and superhero action.

You join us for our last podcast of the decade and as a result the year. We have two family friendly films to talk about this week, both 'Cats' and 'Little Women' are a U certificate but do they deserve it?

We discuss dream Dash Rendar casting as well as catching up with Tyler Blevins.

In the penultimate review episode of 2019 we talk about the second most controversial film released this week. That's right, it's Star Wars time!

'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' is the final film in the main storyline of the franchise is out this week. Has J.J. Abrams delivered a successful conclusion or is it missing the magic of previous instalments? We have our opinions and I'm sure we'll be exposed to various amounts of backlash either way. Bring on the trolls!

We made it guys! Welcome to the 300th episode of this esteemed and sometimes maligned podcast. If you're wondering how this happened then join the club. This is another level. We'd like to express heartfelt thanks to every listener and contributor because without you this would just be the weirdest experience.

Join us in a celebration of the last decade in film and here's to 300 more.

As we get closer and closer to Christmas the films keep on coming at breakneck speed so here's yet another jam packed episode for you.
