On this Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, we reflect on the Gospel reading from Luke 1:26-38, where the angel Gabriel announces to Mary that she will conceive the Son of God.

Mary's humble "yes" to God's plan exemplifies her immaculate nature, free from sin.

Her fiat teaches us the beauty of surrendering to divine will, reminding us that through obedience and faith, God's extraordinary grace can work wonders in our lives.

Christ is the ONLY answer, Always and Forever!

As we honor Mary's sinless conception, may we seek her intercession and strive for a pure and open heart in our journey of faith.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

“In the gospel for today taken from the gospel of Matthew 7:21, 24-27, Jesus emphasizes the importance of not just hearing His words, but also putting them into action.

He compares those who hear and act on His teachings to a wise builder who constructs a sturdy house on a solid foundation.

Conversely, those who only hear but don't follow His words are like a foolish builder who constructs a house on sand, vulnerable to collapse.

Christ is the ONLY answer, Always and Forever!

This Gospel challenges us to reflect on the authenticity of our faith. It's a call to embody the teachings of Christ in our lives, establishing a firm foundation of obedience and love.

True discipleship involves not just professing belief but living it out, ensuring our lives are grounded in the enduring principles of faith.”
