    Lyrics:

    A pause from storytelling
I am energized from these analyzed rhymes
Each of these lines filled gets me thrilled
    Each rap builds these skills
hours of my time dedicated to this book
look at these educated multisyllabic rhymes
I am not dramatic you are listening to GOD
ODD people say I am erratic sporadic
No equal they are static I am dynamic
An acrobatic twist and turn these words
churn what is heard into binds in your mind
Enough of these antics and semantics
how many times do I have to rhyme
"IC" I am just tired of these thick
skulled pricks their hating makes me sick
they are dulled ticks in the need for blood
so they flood negativity to get violent
    activity the enemy of productivity
sad Nihilists go back to being silent
they get mad when my creativity makes
me a finalist in my ambition my mission
to be the best in this competition

This is my mind combined and outlined

with rhymes knots of thoughts jumbled
then bundled to be released to this book
    pleases the public
    and this is the hook

This is my mind combined and outlined

with rhymes knots of thoughts jumbled
    then bundled to be released
to this book pleases the public
    and this is the hook

Verse two glued to this word Stew

it is crazy how I can make
    letters sound better when I
knit them together like a sweater
The science of rhyming having an
    Alliance of like minding words
    creating melody seamlessly
word chemistry is what I call it
As it commits to my legacy
I have been addicted to rhymes
    predict the words so well
    you think it is scripted
    why my haters are conflicted
    they are afflicted they
can't rhyme how I depict it
    There is something pleasing
    connecting words teasing
    were my raps are directing
    reflecting my soul perfecting
    my craft collecting and projecting
    my goals drafting my creation
hoping one day they will be played
    across the nation fighting writers
block frustration as I walk towards
    my salvation my rapping graduation
a formation of my biggest success
this was my expression of my progress
    commence the next rap

This is my mind combined and outlined

with rhymes knots of thoughts jumbled
    then bundled to be released
to this book pleases the public
    and this is the hook

    then bundled to be released

    and this is the hook

  • skin track thoughts

I had some thoughts one day while breaking trail in Northern Norway. Later that day the Norwegian snow monitoring folks caught up with me and said takk for fint spor (thanks for the nice track!)

  • 72 links, 36 chisels

A timelapse film of some chainsaw chain maintenance.

What exactly am I doing here? First, sharpening and checking each chisel and the cutting guides. Because there were some issues with wandering cuts related to wrong angles or chisel spacing, I'm also using a shifting spanner as a gauge to check that each chisel is a consistent size.

It's not a how to or instruction or advice, just a fun little film showing an attempt at problem solving with a chainsaw. Honestly if you're chainsawing a lot or a little just buy one of those new files that does the chisel sharpen and guide filing in one hit, they're great!

Everything you hear comes from the hardware in the video, except for the mastering compressor.

No third-party effects or layer manipulation tricks. The vocal comes from the looper in the Mooer ocean pedal, which, thankfully, can be controlled via MIDI.
