This is part 3, we are truly into alternate history now. I find the economy is dragging as I attempt to build out the industrial base. However, with the passage of proportional taxation, the budget isn't my main concern. Yeah, it's abolishing the monarchy and radicalizing the liberals. Our goal in this stream is to try and weaken support for the right wing as much as possible, even if that means sacrificing some economic gains to do it.

Still don't know how we're going to deal with the John Cockeril company.

It's a victoria 3 full gameplay playthrough on linux with me, Turbles Celbor. I will attempt to create a truly egalitarian society in belgium in the face of the imperial pressures, ideally after conquering the north (get that squared away).

We've done a few longplays of victoria 3 on this channel, but never a commentary playthrough. Unlike before we are playing a recognized minor power, which should help diplomacy immensely. I am also playing with the most recent commerce expansion, which has an actual world market to interact with.

Victoria 3 is a grand strategy game by paradox interactive. Instead of being played out in a series of turns, the game advances in real time and the player has the ability to pause. You will no doubt see the majority of my playtime will be in paused mode.
