A light read.

Compared to others, this was not as thought provoking. That said, it is still a good quick read. A twist ending adds flavor.

Direct Descent by Frank Herbert

I love the writings of Frank Herbert. This was not as intricate as some of his other writings but I liked it. It is definitely science fiction and of the future genre. Enjoy.Direct Descent

but it's good Herbert. Suffers

It isn't Dune, but it's good Herbert. Suffers, unjustifiably, from comparison with better known works. Still a good read for the SciFi devotees.
