Dude....what? This guys like, my bud now and that makes me happy. My guest today has been a personal influence and legend of mine for about 12 years. His name is Parker Gispert and he fronts The Whigs. He's toured with other amazing acts like Kings of Leon, The Black Keys, Drive-By Truckers and a ton more. He's played a bunch of Late Night sets including ones with Dave Letterman. The bulk of our talk however is in reference to a time when he and his band took a chance on me at a show in San Diego and gave me a shot at playing onstage with them. Big moment for a 16 year old...Other than that we discuss rediscovering your identity as a solo artist, the difference between club and arena tours and the perks of quarantining in the woods. Enjoy!
