November 16,2022 EST - seemed to be a pretty normal day! Like everyday, I had already talked to Mamma a couple of times! Day was filled with excitement as I had completed almost half of my packing for a fun trip planned to India. And then suddenly a phone call and I was informed right in the middle of the day that my Mamma, my Maa, my best friend left us for ever!!! 6 months today and still wondering what happened! When showered with her love I never asked God, why me? When I miss her today, can’t ask God, why me? Acceptance is real but hard! We live today with all that she has taught us, feeling her love and presence in and around us for we know that she is happy and watching us with a smile. This poem is dedicated to that ever smiling and ever loving mother - Asha

Recently, while discussing life and life lessons with a dear friend, we both concluded that inner peace and calm is a tricky thing to achieve! Naya Saal’s inspiration comes from those little conversations...Take some time from your busy life and think about what makes YOU feel calm and at peace. Happy 2021 Everyone!

During this pandemic I had some time to sit and just look at the beautiful leaves on the trees in my backyard. Summer to fall, the leaves changed colors and became an inspiration for this poem! Sometimes when you can sit and relax, it’s like surrendering your self to creativity! I read somewhere : try to find peace in chaos or just make chaos an inspiration to finding peace.
