But did we always aspire to get into these stereotypical “Asian” careers? Did our parent’s expectations shape our career paths? Do we even like our current career path? Let’s find out!

Happy Lunar New Years! We promised to delve a little deeper into our Asian American life this year, so let’s dive in! First off, Gong Xi Fa Cai! Did you know that celebrations for the Lunar New Year can last up to 15 days? Today, we’ll be discussing our family traditions during this time of the year and what kind of activities each day might consist of. We’ll touch on the other lunar holidays as well, although there’s a lot to list! In this two-part episode, Episode 2 will focus on Jake's experience with traditional braces as a teen and Candice's experience with Invisalign as an adult. We discuss the pros and cons of both and also talk about how dental insurance sets you up for failure. Candice will also dive into getting a couple of different consultations in order to find the right ortho for her.
