Last week we finished recording, went to bed and woke up to the news that Disney Cruise Line were sending the Wonder down under for a 2023/24 summer season. We're excited, Australia is excited, but we wanted to arrange for Christine Surh to give us an overview of booking a Disney Cruise.
Using an experienced travel agent made our first (and subsequent) cruise experience a breeze, and Christine made navigating our American annual pass (the Premier Pass which covered both coasts) experience easy and trouble shooted our weird Australian problems with ease so we could access the hotel benefits in particular.
We had the benefit of having heard her on Sam and Ashley's show WDW Happy Place (they're now on Real Life with Sam and Ashley), so wanted to give you all the chance to hear from her, too!
May contain traces of outright excitement to be back on board.
You can get in contact with Christine: https://www.facebook.com/magicaladventuresawait [email protected]
We've had Disney+ Day and are halfway through D23. May contain traces of nerding out.
What!? It's Christmas already? Well, the Disney stuff is out at Costco, so it must be around the corner. We also take a look at some speculations about a possible Amazon Prime style offering from Disney, as well as the possibility of cruises heading down under!
We rave on about our musical weekend which included Frozen at Crown. May contain traces of Disney Magic.
Lewis is pretty amped following his AFL footy tipping win and we take a look at a few Disney happenings including She-Hulk episode one. May contain traces of Swans.
We're joined by special guest Cecilia for her view of Disney from Australia. Cecilia is Lewis' cohost on Unscripted - The Film Show, and has a love for the technical aspects and subtext of movies. May contain traces of mishearing seagulls.
She-Hulk and Andor are about to hit our screens, but we want to talk about things that seem to have been disappeared, and some ongoing curiosities about Genie+ and Magic Band + (both of which seem to be more like minuses). May contain traces of Bullet Trains.
With Magic Band + being released, we take a look at them then get stuck into a conversation about upgrades and when they're worthwhile. May contain traces of Belgian beer.
We get stuck into the annoucements Kevin Feige made at Comicon to put us out of our curious misery. May contain traces of stout induced anomia.
We talk about MCU's Phase Four. Is there a point? Why did Feige say Thor was going to make it all make sense? May contain traces of comparing Phase 4 to being the awkward teenage phase.
