Kristin Smart vanished from the campus of Cal Poly in 1996. Many think she was buried in a fellow student’s backyard. Kristin was presumed dead in 2002 and the case seemed like it would have no resolution, until a few weeks ago. On April 13th, 2021 Paul Flores and his father Ruben were arrested as suspects in Kristin’s disappearance.
