Disc Gauntlet Radio

Vail joins Chris for the first time this season as they welcome Kyle Harrigan to the podcast.  Kyle is from Colorado, and has leadership roles as the Colorado State Coordinator and Director of Operations for the NADGT.  We talk about the love we have for Kelley Park, the disc golf community that builds over large events, and making the changes in your game to be the best you can be.

Jake returns to do a Disc Gauntlet monthly recap with Chris.  They talk about the elite team, past events, and the King of the Mill.  They may even take some time to talk about the greatest boy bands of the 90s.

Chris and Cash invite Jesie Kohl onto the podcast to talk about Veterans for Vets, networking, and getting disc golf onto traditional golf courses.

Chris and Jake welcome Matt Loyd to the podcast.  Matt is the owner of Dynamic Discs Northwest Arkansas.   Matt shares his disc golf journey, and happens to tell some great stories along the way.  The three talk about what it means to be a tournament director/disc golf enthusiast, and finding your niche in life.  There may even be a Ricky Wysocki story as well.

Disc Gauntlet Radio is back for a second season.  Chris Holton and Jake Hedden welcome Anthony Sump to DG Radio's first episode of 2022.  Sump shares his humble beginnings with disc golf, and what has him hooked to play more.  The guys also talk a bit about ratings, rules, and disc golf etiquette.  So take a moment and share this podcast with your friends, whether they are new to the game or an OG like Sump.  It is a great reminder on some of the things we overlook in the disc golf community.

Chris, Jake, and Vail get back together to talk Disc Gauntlet news.  At times they diverge from the topics on hand, but overall they bring some upcoming news that shows Nebraska disc golf is growing, and so is Disc Gauntlet.

DISCLAIMER:  This episode was recorded last week.  Unfortunately the Bustin' Chains for Breast Cancer event is full, but that is a good sign of disc golfers getting together to support a cause.  Thanks to everyone who signed up for Bustin' Chains for Breast Cancer.

Jake and Vail join Chris as they recap the Battle at the North Fork at Skyview Lake, in Norfolk, NE.  As they recap the event, the conversation goes a little sideways.  Jake is need of a doubles partner for an event, and Vail may be playing hard to get.  Either way, the guys enjoy their conversation as the podcast begins to settle down.  There will be one episode released at the end of each month for the rest of the year.

Chris flys solo with hosting duties for an event packed episode.  Ray Johnson swings by to help recap the Heartland Heist and Bison Boogie.  Ray is also a tournament director, and happens to be the TD for the Battle at the North Fork.  The event will be held at Skyview Lake in Norfolk, NE.   Chris and Ray reminisce on past events and experiences at the beautiful courses in Norfolk, while Ray gives us some insight into the Battle at the North Fork.

Jake and Chris come back after a short break to talk about the success of The Siege of Stanton Lake.  They also talk about some recent results of Team Disc Gauntlet members across the midwest and some things to look forward to these next few weeks.
