In this episode Ant considers some of the main parallels between the movie Brazil and George Orwell's classic book 1984.  He reveals how modern society is increasingly mirroring the dystopian vision that the director Terry Gilliam so brilliantly portrays in the movie.  Ant also explores how the main character, Sam Lowry, navigates his escape from The Ministry whilst forging connections with the other characters such as Jill Layton and Harry Tuttle.

In this episode Ant considers some of the main criticisms directed at the New Age movement in terms of spiritual bypassing.  He focuses upon specific types of spiritual practices such as meditation and channelling in order to explain how people who claim to be 'awake' are often just falling into delusion.  Ant also reflects upon some of the main reasons why New Agers often have difficulty in dealing with dark types of information such as what lies at the heart of so called conspiracy theories.

In this episode Ant considers why the movie Wag The Dog was so ahead of its time in terms of predicting the current media generated post-truth world, and the type of absurd lies that we witnessed during the recent Covid-19 pandemic.  He explains what is meant by the idiom 'wag the dog' and how this dimension of the movie is revealed at various points during the plot line.  Ant also focuses upon how the fake war is produced and what the dialogue says about the main characters involved.
