Discernment is a tool, and deception is a lie. One of the gifts of being in a relationship with God is the gift of discernment, which enables us as we trust in God's promises, to determine good from evil and pinpoint the areas of our lives and ways of thinking that are not from God. We must remember that God is 100% good and the enemy is 100% evil.
