John and Sam cover the challenging text of Romans 13 today. It is important to remember that while the view points on this chapter vary widely, one must remember that the main idea is back in Chapter 12. How does 13 support the main idea in 12?

Join John and Sam as they discuss what they are earring from Romans 12 today. Chapter 12 is the head of the next big literary unit and contains the main idea for 12-15.  

This week we are wrapping up the first major unit of Romans. Paul has laid the theological and historical foundation for his solutions to the problems on the ground in the Roman Church.  12-16 represent the practical application of 1-11, but context is still crucial.  As we move into the next section, try to pick up on what some of the specific problems may have been in the Roman Churh and how 1-11 speaks to some of those issues. 

Join us as we continue in Romans. Chapters 9-11 can be challenging, but try to navigate them in light of the whole letter. See you in chapter 11.
