What does the Bible actually say about government?

When people talk about government today, conversations often become focused on politics, elections, and personalities. But before Christians evaluate any government, we must first understand God's original design.

In this episode of the Disciple Blueprint Podcast, we begin examining the biblical role of government. Government was not created simply because people needed a way to organize society. Scripture teaches that authority ultimately comes from God, and civil government exists under His authority and for His purposes.

What exactly did Jesus intend the church to be?

Many people have different ideas about the purpose of the church. Some focus on worship, others on outreach, fellowship, or helping people in need. While each of these matters, Scripture gives us a much bigger picture.

In this episode of the Disciple Blueprint Podcast, we begin exploring God's design for the church. Jesus did not establish the church simply as a place where people gather each week. He created it to worship God, proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and teach believers to follow Him faithfully.

We also discuss the difference between making converts and making disciples. Salvation is the beginning of the Christian journey, not the finish line. Jesus commanded His followers to help believers grow in faith, obedience, and spiritual maturity.
