“As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.” (Joshua 1:5-6)

The defining factor in our life is not in how strong, courageous, accomplished, up to the task we are, but in our devotion to God. The source of our strength and courage doesn’t come from how good we are, but from God’s promise that He will never leave us.

What of the tithe? Is it commanded for the church? Our aim is to get a biblical view of giving and tithing. We desire to grow, obey and glorify God with our substance without adding or subtracting from what the holy scriptures teach.

Habakkuk goes from the valley to the heights. The circumstances have not changed but he has learned to trust God and to rest in Him. In the last chapter of the book, he pictures for us what a healthy Christian out to look like; living by faith and not by sight. Trusting in God and not the arm of man. Join us as we consider:

Habakkuk receives an answer from the Lord regarding his complaint against Israel for her sins.

“Look among the nations, and see; wonder and be astounded. For I am doing a work in your days that you would not believe if told. For behold I am raising up the Chaldeans…”
