9 But, beloved, we are convinced of better things regarding you, and things that [j]accompany salvation, even though we are speaking in this way. 10 For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the [k]saints. 11 And we desire that each one of you demonstrate the same diligence [l]so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and endurance inherit the promises.

13 For when God made the promise to Abraham, since He could swear an oath by no one greater, He swore by Himself, 14 saying, “indeed I will greatly bless you and I will greatly multiply you.” 15 And so, having patiently waited, he obtained the promise. 16 For people swear an oath by [m]one greater than themselves, and with them an oath serving as confirmation is an end of every dispute. 17 [n]In the same way God, desiring even more to demonstrate to the heirs of the promise [o]the fact that His purpose is unchangeable, [p]confirmed it with an oath, 18 so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to hold firmly to the hope set before us. 19 [q]This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and reliable and one which enters [r]within the veil, 20 where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

In today's special episode, Justyn and Emily sit down with Pastor Randy B. Leavitt, a Pastor of People's Full Gospel Church, of 30+ years. 

He was ordained in 1974; and for more than forty years has been engaged in active and anointed ministry, pastoring in several churches in Canada.  He has travelled abroad preaching in England and Wales, represented his larger Fellowship (The Apostolic Church of Pentecost) as District Director for a number of years, and represented them in international congress both in Africa and Central America.  For two decades and counting, he has also served Winnipeg's inner city as Chaplain of The Salvation Army Centre of Hope.

Pastor Randy has published his first book: “Sunday”: a pastoral reflection on Sunday's Son; and, has been honored with the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal in recognition of his pastoral care in his inner-city ministry.

In this episode we talk about Hebrews chapter 3, this chapter describes Jesus as being greater then Moses, he describes him as being the creator of the universe, the builder of all things. The builder of the house and the house being his followers. So we should not let our faith fade away, less we not enter into the rest of God's perfect grace.

He suffered for all of us so he could become the perfect vessel to die to save us from our sins. He took the power of death away that the devil yielded. We learn that Jesus refered to us as brethern, that because he came down from heaven he was able to experience the same things as us and relate to us like family. He became the perfect Captain of Salvation; leading the way for those who are lost.

In this episode the Disciples' Quest team dives into Hebrews chapter 2. We had a lot to talk about as there was much intriguing information presented in the text. We talk about Jesus being the saviour and how we are to keep our faith strong in Him. The evidence is clear in The Bible that Jesus is the long awaited Messiah who's coming was foretold by the prophets of the old testament. Now that He has been revealed to us, it is essential that we do not drift away from having our trust fully placed in his care!
