Clearly ALL believer's have been given the mandate to win souls.. It is not the responsibility of a department but a collective responsibility of the body of Christ, beyond 'church marketing'. The purpose of God for our redemption is that we all become like Christ. That we take up the divine nature of God. The provision for that is already made for in the scriptures. Brethen the purpose of Discipleship is that we may conform to the image of Christ.

As a Born again Christian, the Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:17. Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].
