Jesus sends His disciples out into the surrounding towns to preach repentance and  with authority to cast out devils and heal the sick. The truth we speak can be accompanied with authority if we are willing to get close enough to the One who gives authority.

The people in Jesus home town were offended at Him. They heard and saw what so many others had seen and heard but yet they were so familiar with Him they could not see what was going on. "Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary...?"  Lets take a closer look.
