Whatever sector of life you are in (there are 7), God calls Christians to "therefore go and make disciples." That involves sacrifice, effort, and most importantly, full faith in where God leads you. Step 1: shed the false identity and assume your God-given kingdom identity. Step 2: get into true community with other Christians (not fellowship...but actual community...where you're vulnerable with others). Step 3: listen for God...He is always talking.
