So many of us say: I'll start tomorrow, next week, next month or next year? But, what if the success of our plans depends, not so much on what we choose to do tomorrow, but on the very thing we choose to do next?

In our attempts to make improvements in our lives we look for The home run. But the home run may not even be the most valuable statistic in baseball, much less our dreams. Perhaps success is found by understanding our motives and assessing where we are in proximity to our dreams.

Maybe if we do these things, we’d find that success is nearer to us right now, than any other day that might be in front of us.

There are a lot of frightened people out there just trying to get by every day and find something to be hopeful for. My vision is to steer people towards hope. So, we begin SEASON 5 with new branding and a clarified message. As you begin the new year, take some time to evaluate the beliefs you have about yourself and where those beliefs might be taking you. I often tell my clients there are two ways to solidify proper movement patterns. The first way is to maintain proper form under load. The second way is to maintain proper form under exhaustion. Both require a great deal of intention in order to avoid injury while improving outcomes. In this EPISODE I sit down with former teammate and coaching partner, Shane Miller, to discuss the importance of INTENTION in pursuit of GOALS. Suffering is unavoidable. We can choose to give up under the strain or persist and get the reward. There is a such thing as GOOD PAIN. As coaches, Shane and I understand the role we play in explaining to our clients what they should be experiencing. The time will come when you must decide whether you will stay under the load or give into exhaustion. We're here to remind you that you will get the REWARD if you CHOOSE to STAY IN IT.

What can we do when everyone around us is following the path to their goals, but we know our goals are different? So many of us sit and wait for clarity before making a move because we think that we'll make the wrong decision. But the only wrong decision is indecision. When we over analyze each step, we potentially forfeit the good for just good enough.
