In America we are privileged to have the benefits we do. Having a place to live, food to eat, and even a church to go to. If we aren’t careful, the material things we believe are bribing us happiness, are in turn causing our misery. We must watch the danger of excess, and live for heavenly things.

We were honored to have Evangelist Caleb Garraway on the podcast with us. We are continuing our discussion through the book of James. James 4:13-17 is a powerful reminder that we only have one life to live. I want my life to count for Jesus!

If we place our trust in God and God alone, we have nothing to worry about. We must submit to His will, and draw closer to Him each day. If we accomplish that, the devil will naturally flee!

As Christians if we are not careful, we doing things out of our own pride, and not for His glory. When we pray we ask amiss, wanting pleasure in our souls, instead of seeking His pleasure. God wants to give us grace, but we must be humble.

Garrett and Dalton go over James 3:13-18. This passage talks about being a meek and humble person, and staying away from having bitterness and envy set in. Envy is a deadly poison, but meekness is the medicine to fix it.

Our words definitely can be an effective tool to build up, or tear down. As a bridle in the horses mouth, we must not let this tiny thing, become a huge hurt.

An interview you don’t want to miss. We were able to sit down and talk to Evangelist Scott Pauley. We discuss what ministry has taught him, as well as go through James 2:19-26. He gives great thoughts, and great spiritual advise.

Our faith in Christ to be saved does not involve our works at all. After salvation our works are what men see, and our testimony. Listen in as we explain the difference between the works Paul talks about, and the works James is talking about.

It is easy to judge someone by the clothes that they wear, or the way they carry themselves. The Bible tells us that we should not judge according to someone’s status.
