    Gabriel Fontes directed the short film “Lone Crew,” a FI-LA 2026 Official Selection that took home the Grand Jury Award for Best Production Design and the Filmmakers Awards for both Outstanding Direction Sci-Fi and Outstanding Cast Performance – Sci-Fi.

    Gabriel has lived and studied all over the world and I was very eager to how this may have influenced his answers for the 4 Questions.

    🏆 Filmmakers Award for Outstanding Cast Performance – Sci-Fi

    Gabriel Fontes is a Director/Cinematographer born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and currently lives in LA.                                                                                                                                                                                                                             He graduated from PUC-Rio, Kansai Gadai in Hirakata Japan, the New York Film Academy and the Global Cinematography Institute of LA.
