Trust is easily spent, but hard won.

CtoE Review
I've previously read books from former military operators who believe that they can apply the same concepts in the business world successfully. The author of this book falls squarely in that category and has a business that's based on teaching the model that he has adapted. There are some good ideas and concepts but there are also some differences between the military and corporate environments that the author incorrectly correlates as equivalent. Having worked in both environments, I believe that some of the differences could cause problems that would reduce the effectiveness of the program. Overall I do think that a corporation could adopt many of the principals and ideas from the author's methods and be more successful.
Great book, great service.

As stated
Highly readable, fascinating examples, very applicable.
I was struck by a recurring theme in Jim Murphy's latest book and I thought it to be true: no matter our education, the degree of our physical prowess or the type of homes we came from, given the right discipline and the right plan, itâs within all of us to achieve excellence in our own lives. Now, thatâs easy to say, but Murphy lays it our chapter and verse and once again delivers the goods in a fast-paced, well documented case study approach to the military elite and how what they do translates into our own successes in the world of business. I personally felt the chapters on teams were particularly relevant.
