It's like being there... only you can fast-forward and rewind.
"I call it time-surfing," Abby said. "It's like being there, except no one can see or hear us."
"Whatever you call it," John said, "that was crazy - what we just did. Beyond realistic. I mean, I was in that guy's head and knew everything he was thinking."
Abby's weird computer program is working again. And it comes in handy when she and her friends agree to help the Old Dears with their family tree.
Except Abby and John learn more about one of the ladies' ancestors than they ever wanted to know. Convicted in 1871 of murder and arson, Reuben Buchanan is a blight on the family's reputation. But was he really guilty? Abby and John must get inside the mind of a murderer to find out.
And while they're rummaging around in the Old Dears' family history, they also find Nathan Buchanan, a heroic relative connected to the Lewis and Clark Expedition - and a legacy waiting to be reclaimed. But the most important discovery they make is that God's promise to bless a thousand generations is true.

There were so many things I enjoyed about this story. The history, lessons, relationships and all the mystery made for a great listen. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
Loved the sequel!
If you could sum up Unclaimed Legacy in three words, what would they be?
Fantastic historical thriller
Who was your favorite character and why?
John and Abby are always favorites, but I loved the "old dears" and the characters from time-surfing. They add such depth and interest to the story.
Have you listened to any of Michelle Babbs other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, I listened to Time and Again, the first book in this series. She did great on that book and did even better this time! Her voice is very easy to listen to and she does wonderful voices for each character.
If you could take any character from Unclaimed Legacy out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Um, John of course! He's an upstanding guy.
Any additional comments?
As I said before, I loved this sequel. The time-surfing was great and had plenty of twists! I always like the historical aspect of the books and the story line was good, demonstrating great character development. This book kept my interest with the help of the different voices and the surprises throughout. Hats off to the author and narrator, another job well done!
Even better than the first book
