A History of war and being human
The three stories that make up the narrative of this work tread that fine line that very view authors are able to walk. They pay tribute to those who, for whatever reason, find themselves thrown into war without glorifying the act of war. While the facts are interesting and well researched - I learned more about the turbulent history of Europe and America in 30 minutes than I ever did as a school boy - it is the authors ability to lend a voice to the rawness, sensitivity and strength of the human spirit that gives these stories there real bite. Waropa is a history of war but above all it is a history of what it is to be human in war. Told with unswerving compassion and authenticity it leaves an indelible impression in the telling.

The syle with which the story is presented has several features for the audience. It provides the right kind of setting for the listener to be fascinated and develop a clear understanding of the facts delivered. The personal style of bringing two individuals involved in a hitorical storyline as if the audience was there listening is both unique and retrospective. The imaginative story telling Depicts the right kind of pictures with words that leeds to personal development of a better perspective of historical events. The art of teaching is most complex and never easy, this team combination of two presenters adds much to the education process. The story telling style of presenting the historical truths is to be respected and even admired.
