Happy New Year! In this episode, I had the pleasure to sit down and chat with Ian Morgan. Ian's an ultra runner, who found running in his late 40's! Ian's zest for life and hunger for adventure has seen him travel the world both on planes and on foot. In the fifth episode of Discover Talks, I sit down with long-time pal Jodia Natapradja. Co-founder, owner, and creative master of Sydney Romantics; a Sydney-based label focused on local collaboration and slow made design. Jodia has been pioneering design since he was just 20 years old, working with brands such as Insight, Ksubi and Deus Ex Machina. In this episode of Discover Talks we chat with Gary Mannion, owner and founder of Little Bit of Japan, an Instagram store celebrating Japanese motorsport & cultural rarities. Gary, originally from Ireland, has lived  in and out of Japan for the past 10 years but has travelled around the world. He started Little Bit of Japan when he noticed people from other countries asking him to find products specific to Japan for them. He noticed it made them happy and he could make a side income from doing it, and so Little Bit of Japan was born.

Dan and I cover everything from why he had his eye on the space Artificer now calls home even before the idea came to pass with Shoji (the other half of Artificer), how many pronunciations he's heard of the brand and why it's incredible important to be true to your ideals when starting a business.

In the first episode of Discover Talks we hear from Dr Izzy, owner and founder of BRAIN TO BODY in Chippendale, Sydney - a chiropractic studio like no other. We discuss everything from the first time Dr Izzy drew his logo from a dream, leaving the space at 3am on multiple nights just to get the details just right through to how the idea came to life when he externalised his ideas and began to organise them.
