Interesting and easy to read

Nice book. The steps stick to your mind easily. Interesting content. It helped me understand myself better. I started my mindfullness sessions asap before i even finish the book and it felt wonderful.

Genuine, Practical, and Valuable!

There are no doubt plenty of people who are pursuing something other than a Calm existence--but they probably don't do it by reading books. For those of us trying to increase the amount of peace and serenity in our lives, this is an excellent book. The author brings the results of research and clinical experience to her writing, thereby avoiding the danger of peddling vacuous inspirational fluff. And she avoids also the opposite extreme of dry academic theory; this is good solid material, clearly conveyed for its practical value.

Blair also hits the Golden Mean by providing a program which is comprehensive without being too exhausting for actual application. Mindfulness, Nutrition, Breathing, Exercise, Self-understanding, Organization and Social Connections are all integrated in an intelligently designed program. For the reader who is tired of hype, who wants a good plan than can be applied for real results this book is a great value. Don't Panic! But don't delay, either. Calmly get this book, read it, use it, and enjoy the benefits.

Il m'est difficile de suivre le cours du livre par moment, l'écriture n'est pas fluide ou simple. Il me faudra le relire pour bien comprendre les idées. Je pense que c'est un livre qui aide à mieux comprendre la Loi d'Attraction et les deux autres lois universelles qui sont en corréation avec la première. Bonne lecture

A great read for anyone needing to find their direction

When I first picked up this book I was a bit skeptical, I mean we have all read a self help book at one point or another and what did it really teach us? This book is totally different. It cuts to the quick of why so many well intentioned changes fall though, because we just do not know how to find our point of focus. We think we do, but we really don't. I recommend this book to anyone. I have read it several times already and plan on recommending it to anyone who is needing a little help finding their drive.

Brilliant Book

This book is different to any self help book I have read. It is a quick and enjoyable read, and straight to the point that we can "all" live out our dreams. I recommend this book to everyone. I love the internet research done, that is throughout this book, on famous and every day people that have done well with many failures first. The point is, we have dreams and we do not let anyone stand in our way to achieve what good things we want to do in this life we have on earth. We all have set backs, but we get up, brush ourselves off and move forward. The past is the past, so don't live in the past......

You already have read or heard EVERYTHING in this

In all fairness this book will probably save me a lot of money... I was going to sign up for Gary Ryan Blair's course on goal setting. I got his FREE pdf, it was full of pretty pictures but nothing great. I purchased this book with high hopes... Meh.... The reader, I could have sworn, many times sounds like a robot. NO inflection and weird clippy diction... This "book" seems to be bullet points, for a speech... lots of trite sentences with no real meat. One of the 10 action points is " Fail to prepare and you prepare to fail".... really??? How is that helpful??

So I thank GRB for putting this "book" out to show me that I need not waist my time, and money. There are SO many other REALLY GREAT goal setting books. And thanks to Audible for letting me get this sorry excuse for a book off my phone...

So So...

Humorous book and a great read for women wanting to get back into the ...

Humorous book and a great read for women wanting to get back into the groove, after an absence of sexual activity, for whatever reason.

titillating foreplay....

Perhaps I was expecting more of Lonnie Barbach in what these authors would provide. While they gave a broad brush stroke to the topic of "mature" liberated femininity, they could have helped a bit more with details...such as how the subjects dealt with some of the physical problems with aging and sex...bladder, bowel, vaginal changes that necessitate adaptive behaviors, appliances, drugs etc. And more contrast between their mature sexual response as compared to their younger selves would have been interesting too. That being said, it was an enjoyable and educational read.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The fake Morgan Freeman voice acting and the piano in the background make this to be an extremely hard listen. I think the voice actor is extremely talented, BUT with this fake 1920s former slave voice is horror-awful.

What could Booker T. Washington have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Get a new actor or a new accent for the actor.
