When I was growing up in Alaska, playing hockey as a female just didn't exist. That's NOT the story in 2024 and Whitney Wigren is making things in girls travel hockey rock Alaska! So fun to watch Alaska Firebirds make a comeback!

I invited Billy in the studio to give us the girl dad perspective. Billy Rosseau knows a lot about the sport, as he played through his you and into juniors. Billy has such a great and relatable story to us all (hockey or not).
