From my experiences, the new year comes with all kinds of things on your to-do-list. Take back presents that don't fit, didn't want or you didn't like. Use up any gift cards. Finish all the leftovers, and get all the Christmas decorations down. One thing I don't think I've ever done has been to set my year up with some ambitious goal-setting.
