Mark Twain once said: The two most important days of your life are the day you are born and the day you figure out why. Discovering your purpose may seem like a daunting quest, but it’s not necessarily as complicated as you think. This episode will give you practical tools to look within and find the “why” that connects you to your purpose.
Transformation Tip: “The two most important days of your life are the day you are born and the day you figure out why.” - Mark Twain
Who am I? Why am I here? What value do I add? What is my purpose?
Purpose and destiny are two different things. Destiny is where you will end up, but your purpose is how and why you will get there. Your purpose stays with you - it is a part of your design.
Your sense of purpose has a motivation behind it. Your purpose is your why.
People are looking for a defining moment, but your identity does not consist of one defining moment.
Your purpose is already in you!
Practical tips for finding your purpose:
Transformation Application: Pick three occasions in your life where you were passionate, excited, and fulfilled by what you were doing. Analyze each of those moments - what about these situations brought you that passion? This will give you clues to your purpose.
