These four corners have seen me to every degree,

All my thoughts, emotions, tears, smiles, anger, even my resting eyes in a dream

But these four corners cannot speak, they can only reflect the vibrations of me,

And who am I to be with these four corners surrounding me,

Who am I to be in a cage unless I free myself from all that I have become,

These four corners offer me a door, in which I am free to come and go as I please

But the choice, afterall, is up to me.

Like the four corners of a room, my mind acts like the four corners withholding my very existence,

I can choose either to stay enclosed and evermore confined to my thoughts, or I can open the door and be free, once and for all.

Because the four corners are not a permanent fixture, unless I allow it to be.

War had been cast all upon the land

By the man, in hand, the plan to command

The seeker of power, hungry with greed

How could he not, he’d never concede

Thirsty for blood, malice in thought

Frequency tuned, Evil’s the plot

Who could not see all that this is

A game to be played, a challenge of words

But voice or no voice, weapons be drawn

Amidst the chaos, the people stand tall

For freedom of life is the ultimate score

The war of we wars, but how many more?

The Earth lay awake warning us all

If evil prevail, then may we all fall

Man is no match for the ultimate sum

No matter our claims, or how many guns

So lay down your weapons, including your thoughts

Peace lay awaiting, lest we all rot…

To hear the sound of the truth

Would you open up your eyes

To see the way, beyond the ruse

Would you open up your mind

To think of more than just “me”

Would you open up your heart

To feel what happiness can be

Would you let go of the past

To be present, in the now

Would you cast away your hate

To give your love all around

Would you cease to think of thoughts

To know that you can be at peace

Would you cease to fail in effort

To show that life is what you seek?

Point the finger, run from you

hide in musings, slate the truth

mask the pain, and play pretend

close your eyes, and hope it ends

But when you wake there’s no escape

you put it out, and then you wait

hoping for a savior now

to smite the past, and help you out

For all you’ve said and all you’ve done

you must realize, and make amends

time to face reality

face the pain and turn the key

You are the One, your cloud of thoughts

make a choice, control the plot

escape the negativity

and choose to see through eyes of peace

Or ever you are bound to lies

darkened thoughts and ‘wonder why’s’

succumber to the will of hate

for whom the ego dares your fate…

But once you change perception to

see it all, accept the truth

free your mind; find your will…

take the steps to Heaven’s gate

and be the master of your fate.

Spread this newfound graciousness beyond sight, utter its Will, believe in its Love, know of its Veracity, feel its Presence

Let the light guide your way, cast no shadow of doubt

Taper off self-oppression, disband all afflictions, abandon thoughtlessness

Spread the graciousness abound, let it fall over the darkness and thereafter blossom a beauty seldom seen or felt by those encapsulated in the darkness – the beauty of Love, of Light, is blinding!
