Have you have ever felt that God would do something in your life and God didn’t move? Have you have ever prayed for God to act but He didn’t act? 2 Peter 3:8-9 says "But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness." God’s timing is not your timing but His timing is perfect.

The “Live Laugh Love” philosophy is not a real adventure. It’s a rut. God calls us to the greatest adventure of following Him that requires trust and willingness to take the step on the path ahead.

Pride is probably no ones favorite word. Right? We all can struggle with fighting and avoiding pride in our lives but scripture tells us in Proverbs to "not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil." Jesus has enough grace and love for each of us to rescue us from the trap of pride.

We all could use a daily dose of wisdom. But where do we find true wisdom that is able to transform our lives and ultimately our minds?

We have the choice every to choose the clothes we wear. Just like a winter coat helps keep us warm and a good pair of shoes ready us for the day. Choosing to put on kindness and compassion ready's us for loving others well and for what God has placed in our lives before us.
