Obviously this isn't specifically a Discovery Debrief, but the whole panel — Rachael Clow (Biology PhD Candidate), Chris Clow (Movies.com, The Comic Binge), Zaki Hasan (Zaki's Corner, MovieFilm Podcast), and Cicero Holmes (Rivals of Waterdeep) — has returned from an extended absence to catch up and discuss "Remembrance," the first episode of STAR TREK: PICARD.

These two episodes represent two highly turbulent emotional experiences. STAR TREK's lineage is one that goes back to 1964, when the original pilot episode, "THE CAGE" starring Jeffrey Hunter as Captain Christopher Pike, was first produced. That episode has largely been left alone as a standalone tale in the long-running half-century long canon of the series...until now. Not only do these two DISCOVERY episodes build on the threads they've been weaving all season, but they work up to a story that is 55 years in the making, by taking us back to the first strange new world ever explored by the USS ENTERPRISE on television. To say that our panel have a variety of thoughts on this and a whole lot more is putting it mildly.
