Sk: Studený vietor preháňal sa cez starobylé ulice Kartága.
En: A cold wind swept through the ancient streets of Kartágo.

Sk: Ruiny, pokryté svetlom zimného slnka, rozprávali príbehy o dávnej sláve.
En: The ruins, bathed in the light of the winter sun, told tales of bygone glory.

Sk: Mladý učenec Ján kráčal medzi kamením s očami plnými nadšenia.
En: A young scholar Ján walked among the stones, his eyes filled with excitement.

Sk: Fascinovala ho starobylá civilizácia a verila, že pod týmito ruinami sa skrýva tajná komnata, ktorá by mohla potvrdiť jeho teórie.
En: He was fascinated by the ancient civilization and believed that beneath these ruins lay a secret chamber that could confirm his theories.

Sk: Avšak čoskoro po príchode do Kartága Ján ochorel.
