In 1955, the Chicken of the Sea Pirate Ship Restaurant stood in a shallow lagoon at the back of Fantasyland. It was joined in 1960 by Skull Rock, which featured lights and waterfalls and served as a seating area for patrons of the Pirate Ship Restaurant.
