Dr. Frankenstein flips a switch and lightning rains from the sky to power his unholy creation as he shouts "It's Alive!!" In our neighborhood, Victor Frankenstein's mother is screaming I KNOW you aren't using up all my electricity with that nonsense! And when Victor calls back, "It's not your electricity. I'm using the lightning!" In that iconic moment, we know that only the monster would be alive because back-talking Victor would have bought the farm. A Gernan shepherd is chased across the frozen wasteland by men in a helicopter who are trying to kill it. The helicopter crashes and your animal-loving crew member welcomes the dog into his kennel. In our neck of the woods, both dog and crew member would still be out in the frozen wasteland with relatives declaring that if that fool lacks the common sense to never let a strange dog into your house, then he needs to stay outside.
