I wasn’t going to do it, I wasn’t going to Priestess this Portion! The amount of wading through seemed futile. Annndddd, after a recovery bath from the sauna on my second floor there was something gnawing at me about it. There was something there to talk about! Choice.

What does it mean to learn from where we’ve been? What does it mean to have choice? What if there is a choice, and where is the choice? What does it look like? There is many things in this portion, there is a journey unfolding, a frustration building. The honeymoon is over like my mom used to say! (aka we are regulated and not being smothered by hormones).

There are things about people in this story, the things people do when they feel a deep dis-belonging and dislocation. There are a whole bunch of archetypes-the optimistic compensator? Or the pessimistically withdrawn holding on to their last thread of hope but they're tired and angry? Wait, why the fuck is it always a binary?! Riiiiighhhht, its neither. Maybe the question is, how deep is the wound and how far back does it go?

Oh, and how about do you want to meet it whole or you want it poked at because it’s the only thing you are sure of-that it will hurt=pain? And now, it is the only way you know how to feel while deep inside- you still hope.
