Disney Conversations A Disney Fan Podcast

On this tour of Disney Conversations, I talk about the keys that I believe led to the development and ultimate success of Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Walt was well known for his love of this planet and everything on it, as evidenced by his True-Life Adventure series. I talk a bit about how that leads to bringing it all to life at a wonderful theme park.

Finally, I end with a note of gratitude to all who have contributed and supported this show!

Thank you for listening, downloading, and Sharing!

This excursion takes us to a discussion about the genius of Joe Rohde, former Disney Imagineer and Head Creative for Disney's Animal Kingdom.

We talk about how things began at the Disney/MGM Studios. We chat about how the idea was once a seed in the plans for EPCOT and grew into a larger dream.

In the process, we talk about some of the original attractions and on sight productions that took place in the early years. We also bring it into today by giving you a little tour around today's Disney Hollywood Studios.

So glad you have you with us for this Tour of Disney Conversations! Please join the conversation on the Disney Conversations Tourists group on Facebook, we would love to hear from you!

Sad to say, tourists! This is a solo tour! I am your guide through this short show, but I am hoping I packed the right gear for the journey!

On this tour, we look at the evolution of EPCOT Center. I chat about the changes that occurred after Walt Disney's death. Who took over? What were the changes to the original plan? What's in the future for EPCOT?

I truly appreciate you hanging on with me as this podcast is going through some changes of it's own right now. More on that at a later time.

Hop over to our Facebook page, Disney Conversations, and join in the conversation!

In honor of the Disney100 celebration, we decided to take a look back at how everything began for Walt Disney World.

We talk about Walt's original dream for the Florida Project, and dive into the development of WDW's Magic Kingdom.

And, of course, what would a Disney Conversation be without a Dug moment?

Thank you for sticking with us!

Until next time, Tourists...

Tour Conductor Magical Matthew and Tour Guide Laurie Harding discuss some of the Destination D23 "announcements" regarding Walt Disney World. And, since most of what was shared didn't really have any concrete timelines, we decided to add a few of our own "announcements" in the form of Rumors We'd Like to Start!

It was a fun, early morning discussion that we both enjoyed immensely! We hope you will also!

How about adding to the rumor mill on the Disney Conversations Facebook Page? We'd love to hear your "announcements", too!

Until next we meet, Tourists!
