Disney Vault Talk returns for the GOLiverse marathon and Teresa and Steve pick up right where they left off as they discuss the Pixar film The Incredibles. It’s a lot of laughs, news from around Disney, catching up on what we’ve been watching on Disney Plus, and of course NO CAPES! It’s the most magical podcast on the internet…it’s Disney Vault Talk and this time…it’s super powered! You can still donate to CURE through February 23, 2020 at www.geekoutonline.com/cure please help us meet our goal!
First of all, this episode was recorded way back in May of 2019. It never got posted because Steve is an idiot. So all of the news and stuff you hear will be pretty dated.
Now then, Steve and Teresa get together to talk about Finding Nemo! One of the biggest of all of Pixar’s blockbusters, Finding Nemo takes us “under the sea” and into a dentists office…huh? There’s the usual antics here as well as a cameo from a Big Honkin Show regular! We hope you enjoy the discussion of Finding Nemo.
Way back in February the GOLiverse held it’s fifth annual marathon for CURE Childhood Cancer. Disney Vault Talk was there! Vanessa Marshall stopped by to tackle some unanswered Disney questions as well as geek out a little over the things we all love. Then Sarah Woloski from Skywalking Through Neverland popped in to help tackle a few more questions. It’s hanging out talking Disney all for CURE on the internet’s most magical podcast!
Teresa and Steve are back! This time out they are discussing Monsters Inc. What did they like? What didn’t they like? Can Teresa get through all the technical information? Has Teresa learned how to read large numbers? What really captured Steve’s imagination? Who cried? Who didn’t? What about the music? It’s all here along with a couple of 60 second movie reviews, some disney watch and just catching up with our duo as they get back into the swing of things.
Teresa and Steve discuss the third feature film from Pixar. Woody has been kidnapped, Buzz is on the case. The whole gang winds up in a toy store. Newman is a toy collector. Steve and Teresa agree about a sentimental moment! It’s all the fun and information you’d expect from Disney Vault Talk as the team breaks down Toy Story 2!
Steve and Teresa are joined by Riley. None of the three seem to be able to say words properly. They power through though to discuss Pixar’s second feature film, A Bug’s Life. Included in the discussion is a comparison to Antz, more about Pixar’s place in film history, the short film Geri’s Game, and the fact that they are all struggling with words. The most magical podcast on the internet gets buggy in this fun episode!
The Pixar watch begins as Teresa and Steve discuss Toy Story. Included in this episode is the introduction of a few new segments, a brief history of Pixar, and a discussion of why Toy Story seems to resonate with people of all ages. The fun and magic of Disney Vault Talk is back as we enter into a new era of the show!
Shazbazzar joins in here and there while Teresa and Steve celebrate marathon day 2018 by talking about Mary Poppins. Here are a few things to expect: Steve sings, Teresa cries, and we still haven’t hit our goal for the marathon. Please head over to geekoutonline.com/cure and donate what you can before January 31st to help meet this year’s goal of $5,000 raised for CURE!
Teresa and Steve talk about some of their favorite moments of past shows and what they’re looking forward to in the upcoming weeks and months as they dive into the Pixar films. They also take this opportunity to clear out the mailbag and respond to facebook and twitter comments from the listeners.
