Brian Matthews is my guest this week. He is a vocal atheist and a good person...what's the deal with that!??

Brian and I talk about how he got started in comedy and his beginnings in the Catholic church, and his separation from it. We discuss Mountain Dew and its place in white trash heaven. He explains his current day job and some of his career history. We get into a fairly heated debate about ethics and morality centering on the Colorado Cake Maker Case. We decided he is a better person than I.

He and I met at the finals of the US Comedy Contest and instantly hit it off. Brian has been doing comedy for about 2 years and has already accomplished quite a bit. He does shows all over LA and the greater LA area. He made it to the top 100 of the World Series of Comedy. Fact is, he is funny.

Alice Hamilton is almost assuredly going to be a household name. She owes some of her notoriety to the fantastic live podcast Kill Tony, but Kill Tony has only offered her a deserved boost. She is hilarious. 

We chat about her childhood as an Evangelical Christian. We talk of her trauma regarding Halloween. She tells us why she left her faith and what she misses about being religious. She even spills her pitch for a show.  It's a pretty freaking awesome episode.

Monarey Martinez is hilarious. Some may call her a dark comedy comedian...but it is really just her life, so she is more of an observational comedian who has experienced incredibly dark things.

Max will become a household name soon enough...or you will only see her here...or on a random show somewhere in the country. She has been in comedy festivals all over the country. She is working toward a college tour, I think. Point is, she is amazing.

He was recently featured as one of JFL's 2019 Fresh Faces. He has been blowing up The Laugh Factory Hollywood's Instagram and YouTube pages. He also performed at Clusterfest this year. And he has quite a few appearances on a new TV show on E! called No Filter. Just to mention a small portion of his comedic accomplishments thus far.
