As we head into the final three episodes of 9-1-1: Lone Star, we find ourselves even more angry at certain character choices already implemented and the events to come.

It only took 8 episodes, but Lone Star finally had a great episode this season. But, Laura and I don't want to talk about the giant elephant in the room that comes at the cost of not having Grace around. Meanwhile, on 9-1-1, the silly, goofy filler episode lands pretty solidly in the middle as wholly entertaining and developing for the characters themselves. Check out our full thoughts.

Mads and Laura discuss how Lone Star actually had an enjoyable episode despite not liking where Tommy's health journey is going. Then, on 9-1-1, this episode reminds us we can never take ourselves too seriously because this show certainly doesn't.

On our 80th episode, we discuss the implications of 9-1-1: Lone Star seeming to get rid of yet another main character of color and how Owen continues to be an unsympathetic character. Then, on 9-1-1, the math is definitely mathing for Eddie to have a queer awakening soon -- if the writers are brave enough -- while Buck experiences his first queer break-up.

Mads and Laura discuss the merits of TK and Carlos' marital woes and question the role Owen takes in the horse emergency. Then, we go full out for the Halloween silliness that 9-1-1 is so good at doing.

Once again, Mads and Laura are less than impressed with 9-1-1: Lone Star but recognize that Tommy is probably better off single. Meanwhile, 9-1-1 is an almost perfect episode with proof that great dialogue and direction choices can make all the difference.

Mads and Laura continue to have issue with the writing of Lone Star this season. Meanwhile, 9-1-1 proves that the perfect formula is just letting Athena and Bobby do the most ridiculous things.
