Disposable Heroes

Back again for the very first time, Dean Butterworth is on the latest episode. It’s been a couple years and a pandemic since we last talked, but the best remains steady. Dean, the rhythm peddler for Good Charlotte and Sugar Ray, was hot off the heels of the Beachlife Festival with the latter, in Redondo Beach, CA, so needless to say this epic conversation was fueled by the magic of music! Aloha

The man, the myth, the rhythm whisperer, Ash Soan is BACK on disposable heroes today. Broadcasting live from his legendary “Windmill Studios” in Norfolk, England, Ash pulls back the curtain for us on some of his amazing recording techniques. It’s no wonder Cher, Adele and many others come to Ash for their percussive needs. He also lets us in on some big touring news coming in 2022, thanks for being pure inspiration to the entire drum community!

Aloha Fridays are that much more special when you have an inspiration like Greyson Nekrutman on the show! This conversation goes beyond epic. Greyson, hailing from Long Island, NY has quickly become one of the most intriguing drummers on the planet. Top it off with razor sharp skill, and a personality that will make you smile for miles, and you got magic! Enjoy the show, Aloha.

The legendary Vinnie Fiorello, IS BACK, on Disposable Heroes! He’s recently stepped down from the drum throne and touring with less than jake, which is the end of an era for us all. With all endings come new beginnings, in this case a project called, The Inevitables. So enjoy this epic conversation, and hear all about it! Fun fact: we are releasing some new Inevitables music soon on my band, Pepper’s own label, LAW Records!

This week on the show we have a very close friend and colleague, Sam Gample. He runs the artist relations at Tama Drums, the “strongest name in drums”. To me, he makes dreams come true, to the world, he makes sure some of the sweetest drum sounds out there stay tended to, like a care taker of the world’s most beautiful garden of rhythm!
