In this week's episode of Disturbing Talks, Sam and I discuss the latest "Ted Bundy Tapes", that was released in January on Netflix, and the upcoming release of "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile".
We dive into the world of Serial Killers and the darkness that drives them. We mention it various times throughout the podcast, but we just want to reiterate here, as well. We are in no way glorifying the actions of these individuals that we mention in this episode. This was just a dialogue into the psyche of what drives these people to commit such heinous crimes.
After the carnage, we discuss the announcement that we are finally going to get a sequel to horror comedy "Zombieland" and a 2nd sequel to the original Ghostbusters series, directed by Jason Reitman.
A lot of exciting things coming up in the horror world, so be sure to check back here for all your updates.
That's right everyone! DISTURBING TALKS is back!
I know we've been gone for a bit, but we're excited to be back with all the premium content coming your way!

After a long hiatus, DISTURBING TALKS is back!!
Last year was a humbling year for me. After 10 years in the insurance biz I finally decided to pursue my career in filmmaking. Since then, it's been non-stop job hunting and making movies, which has left me neglecting my baby, DISTURBING TALKS.
Well, Neglect no more! Today starts off a brand new season with Disturbing Talks and what better way to start it then with some friends of the podcast.
With Dread Central's Sean Decker as guest host, we're joined by filmmakers Allie Rivera & Bryan Brewer, who discuss their flick "THE RAKING". Both Allie & Bryan donned many hats on this flick -- with Allie serving as producer and actor, and Bryan as writer, director, actor and producer.
The duo discuss their hardships creating this old school, PRACTICAL -- that's right I said practical -- horror flick, set in the desert. They discuss the terrain, the amazing practical monster effects by SyFy's FACE OFF past contestant, Eric Fox, and much more!
WARNING: This week's Disturbing question has to do with our current political climate, so if you are at all offended by this subject... Good. It's a fucked up situation and we should all be offended. With that being said, hope you enjoy this week's episode and be sure to tune in for more episodes in the upcoming weeks!
THE RAKING is now available on DVD and VOD (Amazon, Vudu, Flix Fling, Vimeo, Google Play, Itunes, and Xbox).
You can follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for all updates on the flick.
This week we sit down with Disturbing Talks alumni Sean Decker and newcomer actress Carlee Baker.
We discuss the 2016 Halloween Haunt Season (which includes DELUSION, CREEP L.A., and HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS) plus, we talk about Hank Braxtan's upcoming SNAKE OUTTA COMPTON, YUMMY MEAT (written by Sean) and CREATURES OF WHITECHAPEL (which stars Carlee) -- which will both be at Screamfest this year.
All this PLUS we get into the topic of the hour which is the upcoming docu-series TWO MINUTES WITH TOM HOLLAND. This series will take a look at the film history of the famous director, writer, Tom Holland -- who directed the amazing FRIGHT NIGHT, and is the creator of CHUCKY. This series will be hosted by the very talented Carlee Baker, will be written/produced by Jack Ulrich and Sean Decker, with episodes to be directed by film maker (and past Disturbing Talks guest, Christian Ackerman). The crew currently has a GoFundMe page (available HERE) which is full of amazing perks and gives you a chance to be a part of the production team! Heck you can even host your very own episode!
You can follow Carlee on Twitter and Instagram, and you can follow Sean on Twitter and Instagram -- to keep up to date on all there upcoming projects.
This week on Disturbing Talks... We sit down with actress, writer, director, Jenn Nangle IN STUDIO!!
That's right! WE GOT ONE!
Jenn braved the journey to the O.C. and had a chance to experience the Studio vibe: which basically means getting drunk with some better mics and talking the shit out of some horror.
We talked for hours, literally, while watching Hunter Johnson's 2 JENNIFER -- which you can purchase HERE (if you'd like to experience Disturbing Talks the way we do) -- discussing M. Night Shyamalan's flicks, Women in Horror, and we even have our first horror trivia segment -- with the trivia questions delivered by the amazing Rhiannon Irons.
Rhiannon is an amazing, knowledgeable, horror enthusiast -- as well as writer -- and recently just wrapped up her first short flick ASYLUM. You can follow Rhiannon on Twitter and Facebook.
This week on Disturbing Talks...
We sit down with writer, director, producer, and movie fanatic, Kevin Shulman, as well as, writer and director, Thomas Fenton. Kevin is working on the upcoming Charles Manson flick, based off the book 'The Long Prison Journey of Leslie Van Houtem', THE FAMILY -- which will be directed by AMERICAN PSYCHO gang, director Mary Harron & writer Guinevere Turner.
Thomas has written such flicks as SAW IV & I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE 2, and will also be working on an upcoming project with Eli Roth and Crypt TV. Also, we find out that Thomas will also have something to do with an upcoming DOUBLE DRAGON adaptation. After the Scott Wolf debacle it'll be good to see this project back in the hands of someone who can do it some justice.
Enjoy the show everyone and be sure to spread the podcast around like cooties.
This week on Disturbing Talks... We go on the road to meet with writer, director Gus Krieger, along with actress Catherine Parker -- who acts in Gus' feature debut, THE BINDING.
The Binding is An intelligent and powerful psychological horror film; exploring the depths of religion -- and the acts one will commit in honor of it. Catherine plays Sam, a quick but effective part and that delivers one of my favorite lines in the film.
What is it you ask? Well, you're just going to have to listen to the podcast to find out -- or even better! Why not purchase your very own copy of THE BINDING, which comes out tomorrow August 2nd! Follow the link -- HERE -- to the gateway of awesomeness!
Gus, Catherine, and I explore a variety of topics that include: Religion (yikes!), of course THE BINDING, Musicals (I'm a sucker for them), Theatre, and topless commentary.
Sit back, relax, pour some whiskey over ice... It's Disturbing Talks time...
This week we sit down with the amazing bad ass women behind the upcoming psychological horror short, SCRATCH.
Director Emma Bell, Actress/Producer Bel Delia, Executive Producer Tessa Saville, and writer Helen Shang talk about their experiences on the set of the film. They discuss the experience of each level of making this movie and go over the amazing films that sparked their interest in filmmaking.
This week disturbing talks...
