DISUNOMICS

The tech industry has come to the forefront of our attention in recent years. From Facebook to Amazon to Google, we are seeing a ridiculously innovative industry blossom in front of our eyes. However there has been endless complaints with regards to a lack of diversity in the tech industry.

This week I'm joined by a lovely young lady Loretta. A high flyer IT sales consultant for one of the biggest tech companies about! We had a good gist about her life & the tech industry.

This week DISUNOMICS podcast takes a deep dive into the world of the police force

I am joined by a member of the police force who chose to remain anonymous for obvious reasons. Some members of the public especially ethnic minorities in working class environments don't have the best relationship with the police force.

However without many of us in institutions like this how can we understand what goes on? Better yet have an impact in the changes needed for an effective & unbiased force. Me and my guest explored a few topics regarding the police force.

> Being Caribbean & a women police officer

> Diversity in the police force

> Is there any racism within the police force?

> Police & gang culture

> Stop & search

> Gang culture policies

> Sexual harassment & assault

> Why you should consider joining the police force

An issue that goes under the radar in wider society is the disposability of the lives of men across the world. This won’t get many headlines but violence in society has been normalised. Men are under enormous pressures to be a certain level yet they can be disregarded as humans.

This week I’m joined by Ash to discuss if this question is valid.

> Royal Wedding

> Texas School Shooting

> Yanny vs Laurel!

> The biology of men & women

> How early society set the standard

> Comparison to animal kingdom

> Perpetrators & victims of violent crime

> Mental health

> Homelessness

> Family unit

> Dangerous jobs and risk taking

MILLENNIALS can’t afford to purchase their homes, rent & general living costs due to them buying Starbucks, iPads and organic Pokemon meat. However this is far from the case. In fact it’s insulting to suggest otherwise.

This week I crush this narrative and run through some events in the news this week!

> Met Gala

> Trump pulling out the Iran deal

> Sky Sports losing La Liga rights

> Sunday Times Rich List 2018

> House prices over 30 years

> Deposits over 30 years

> house price to earnings ratio

> Mortgage approvals
