The Devil tries to off Doug before people start taking him seriously that something is wrong with Marlena (for example the fact that she has been possessed by said devil). Ciara and Ben discuss the pros and cons of birthing a potential serial killer. We here at the Diva take an editorial stand that their baby would just be a future Cereal Killer and those two crazy kids should just take that leap of faith. Apparently none of the younger Salem set knows how to use the internet because they are all just now learning about their Grandma Marlena's past possession. Johnny wants Marlena to back his movie. John doesn't think making the movie is a good idea and can only bring back bad memories of their past. Johnny learns his grandmother was possessed by the devil. Doug continues to struggle with bad memory and impulsive behavior. He suddenly grabbed Paulina's behind! Kayla refers him to Marlena. Abe tells Lani that Paulina is thinking of marrying Abe and he feels the same. Paulina talks to Marlena and reveals the truth about Lani and Abe. Nicole and Chloe talk about their relationships. Join the Diva of DOOL as we discuss the past two weeks of DAYS and the new five day episodes of Beyond Salem streaming on Peacock TV.  Beyond Salem premiered on Peacock this past week. It featured many veteran actors along with the new ones and brought back some fan favorites, It had intrigue, mystery, humor, naughtiness and great dialogue. The Alamanian Peacock was stolen by Princess Gina in the 90's and six of it's jewels starting turning up in different areas of the world. These jewels could be used to help blackmail and destroy many countries. ISA agent Shane Donovan and Billie Reed along with John Black and Marlena were called on to help find them. Along the way we had adventures in Switzerland, New Orleans, Miami and Phoenix. Tony and Anna visit Carrie and Austin in Zurich. Abe, Paulina, Lani and Eli had fun in Miami. Ben and Ciera honeymooned in New Orleans and Chad visits Sonny and Will in Phoenix. They are become involved in different ways with the Peacock gems. In the end the world was saved by none other than Leo Stark! Back in regular Salem...Justin and Bonnie's wedding was stopped by Xander and a dead Calista Lockhart. Gwen wants to tell Jack the truth. Jack and Roman see signs of dementia in Doug. Philip discovers that Gabi has sabotaged his computer but Jake comes to her rescue with his own trick. Chloe tells Brady to stay out of her relationship with Philip. Ava lets Nicole know how Rafe felt about her. Paulina almost gets caught but covers by saying she wants to marry Abe one day. Chanel and Ally open Sweet Bits and talk about their feelings for each other. Johnny tells Tripp Ally isnt over Chanel. EJ threatens Xander and Johnny tells him he wants no part of DiMera business. She continues to lie, but finally admits how and why she slept with Lucas. EJ won't forgive her and throws her out of the house he doesn't own. Lucas hopes to stop EJ from finding out but is too late. Lucas stands up to EJ and tells him that he should step aside and let someone who loves and appreciates Sami be with her. Sami goes to have it out with Nicole and finds her with Rafe. Sami blames Lucas for EJ finding out. Lucas explains that it was Philip that gave Nicole the letter. Gabi and Jake decide to take down Philip and gain control of Titan. Ava goes to ask Nicole for a job but finds her crying on Rafe's shoulder. Allie and Claire are arrested for helping Ben. Paulina offers a reward for information about Ben and Ciera. Lani is furious and will not forgive her aunt. Paulina has a surprise vistor. Steve tells Jack about Gwen and Dr Synder. Jack confronts Gwen and Xander covers for her. Ben tries everything he can to help Ciera get her memory back. Who knew a Chinese fortune cookie would do it. This week's Days of Our Lives was "all about the couch".. the Horton Couch to be exact. Never has one couch held so much history, kept so many secrets, and still looked as good as the day it was made. This mystery, along with many others, will be explored in this week's podcast.
