In this episode Diva Tech Talks interviews Carrie Borchers, a stellar sales director in the world of IT. Carrie started in nonprofits and served as a Professional Scouter. Throughout her career, she moved from sales to business development.

Carrie saw the rise of technology in the marketing field, but didn’t get exposed to technology earlier because she thought IT careers could be boring. As she shifted into a sales role in the IT world, Carrie had to quickly learn more about the technology industry. Technology is what now fuels her successful career.

She currently serves as the Director of Sales at IT Resources. She was the second woman and first sales woman at her company, which is now enjoying 100% growth in 7 years. They have, on average, 50% women working there.
