After a quick check in with their producer Sam for Today in History, we welcome on Pam Jahnke of the Midwest Farm Report, getting the low-down on what farmers are dealing with - with tariffs, market instability, and the beginning of the end for farm-to-school nutrition programs. We dive into today's dose of Idiocracy, talking more about the (dumb) tariffs, and ensuing stock market dive yesterday. We talk with some callers about the issue, and hear from the PM of a country we now have tariffs on - inhabited only by penguins. We even hear from Ben Shapiro (!) about how damaging the economic policy will be.
